What would you say if you were asked to address a group of high-powered College students who were graduating with the world at their feet? Would you focus on success, achievements and staying on top of things in a competitive world? You might think that this was the line of encouragement taken by the actor Denzel Washington when he was asked to address a group of College graduates at Dillard University, New Orleans in America.
Instead, he asked the students to ‘put God first’ and ‘Fail big’. He had the courage to give them a message contrary to what they were used to hearing that says – ‘Put yourself first’ and ‘Succeed hard’. He added that everything he has accomplished in this life was due to the grace of God. To all young people who have graduated from school of College in these days, listen and be inspired.
