And so it came to pass
that time for leaving, the time for closing.
Like a death. And after -
you bring nothing with you but your soul,
your essential self, with your capacity
to pray ceaselessly, to adore,
with your history of giving
and serving and resting before God.
12 x 12 years of attending
brought to its fulfilment in this place.
