In his farewell discourse at the Last Supper, Jesus asks the Father to 'consecrate in the truth' his disciples for 'your Word is truth'. Jesus whole life and mission was founded on the bedrock of truth. He stood for the truth and against any form of falsehood, deceit or lies - even if it cost him immense suffering and even his life. Loving the truth is loving Christ for he identified himself with the truth as 'the Way, the Truth and the Life'. Let us make a renewed effort to be truthful in all things.
