Friends, the response to today's psalm is 'taste and see that the Lord is good'. Nice words but what do they mean? They speak to us of God being experienced by us in a real and sensory way. God is above our senses and our experience of Him but at the same time, he communicates to us through our senses in ways that we can feel, see, hear, touch, smell and understand. This is why our faith in the incarnation is so important and a spirituality of God being mediated through the created world, through Christ, through the Scriptures and through his Church.
