Friends, to celebrate Christmas and to mark the significant moments of this season, the diocese of Ferns have produced a 'Family Prayer Card' for Christmas 2020.
In the centre of the card is the picture above - a nativity scene from St Aidan's Cathedral here in Enniscorthy. On the prayer card is a prayerful meditation on each of the figures of the crib that you see - the manger, the donkey, the cow, the star, the shepherds, the kings, the angel, Joseph, Mary and finally the infant Jesus.
Each family is encouraged to use this prayer card to pray at home this Christmas. Included are also prayers for Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, a prayer before Christmas dinner, a prayer for New Year's Eve and a prayer for the world.
