There was controversy in recent weeks about the new programme for sexual education in Catholic primary schools named 'Flourish'. There was a strong media reaction, not so much to the content of the programme but to the role of the Church in the sexual education of young people in our primary schools.

In a recent interview, Maria Colfer interviewed David Quinn from the Iona Institute about the controversy and the clash of visions at stake, not just about human sexuality but about what it means to be human.
