THIS WEEK'S INTERVIEW WITH FR SEAN KELLY OFM CAP ON THE POPULARITY OF PADRE PIO

Last Friday evening, 21st September, Fr Sean Kelly, a Cappuchin friar based in Kilkenny, was the main celebrant at a special Mass in Ferns parish Church at which were present the relics of St Pio, otherwise known as the much loved Italian saint, Padre Pio. The Church was packed to capacity as St Pio's popularity remains strong among the people of God. After the Mass, we caught up with Fr Sean and asked him why he thought Padre Pio remains a much loved saint for so many.
