THIS WEEK'S INTERVIEW WITH MR. FRANK MURPHY, PRINCIPAL OF ST AIDAN'S NATIONAL SCHOOL, ENNISC


FOLLOWING the departure of Peter Creedon as principal of St Aidan's after 24 years at the helm, a successor was named to usher the Primary School into a new era.

Having been a member of staff on the very first day that St Aidan’s was founded with the amalgamation of the Christian Brothers and Presentation Primary Schools back in 1994, Frank Murphy is certainly no stranger to the school. He served as Principal at Scoil Mhuire Lourdes in Tullow preceded by eight years as Principal at St Colman’s NS in Ballindaggin.

Before this, Frank saw a bit of the world having worked in Italy, Kenya and China and he also worked at St Patrick’s Special School for a time.
