With Easter joy we ponder the readings from Mass including Peter's first homily after Pentecost where he gets straight to the meaning of the resurrection. It's not a symbol or a myth or a metaphor but a reality. Jesus, with whom Peter and the others knew and accompanied for the previous three years and whom they saw die, was now risen.
