MASS READINGS AND REFLECTION FOR MONDAY OF SECOND WEEK OF EASTER - 20TH APRIL 2020

In the first reading today from the Acts of the Apostles, we are told that the assembly of Christians were at prayer and such was the intensity of that prayer that 'the house where they gathered rocked'. Then we are told that 'they were all filled with the Holy Spirit and began to proclaim the word of God boldly'.

As we believers are also called to proclaim the Gospel boldly to our culture and times, we pray constantly for the gift of the Holy Spirit that we might be 'born from above' and given the grace from God never to give up.
