In today's wonderful Gospel, Jesus calls us friends. Who is a friend? It is someone who has seen us at our worst and still accepts us and loves us. According to this definition alone, Jesus as our God is worthy to be known as our best friend because he sees us at our worst and still accepts us and loves us.
