Born into the world of laughter as the son of renowned comedian Jimmy Cricket, Fr. Frankie Mulgrew was an unlikely candidate for the priesthood. The infectious energy of the stage and the thrill of making people laugh were in his blood. Captivated by the limelight from an early age, he decided at 18 to join his father as a stage manager, even performing standup routines himself. However, despite his deep love for the entertainment industry, Frankie felt an undeniable calling to the priesthood. Below is his story.
