In the Gospel this week, Jesus 'looks hard' at Peter and then calls him to follow him. Here is the model of how God sees us too. He sees us through and through. He knows us and knows the reason he made us for. His look is a look of love that calls us forth beyond ourselves to follow a path of love and service in a particular way of life.
