EWTN

Twenty-five years after the September 11 attacks, EWTN journalist Colm Flynn travels to New York, Shanksville and the Pentagon to meet survivors, witnesses and clergy whose lives and faith were forever changed by that day.

Deacon Paul Carris recounts escaping from the 71st floor of the North Tower while helping a woman he had never met descend to safety. At the Pentagon, Father Stephen McGraw remembers witnessing the attack and rushing toward the devastation to help. At Ground Zero and in Shanksville, priests, chaplains and survivors share powerful memories of courage, sacrifice, grief and prayer.

In the face of such suffering, many were left asking: Where was God on September 11?

Through deeply personal testimony, this documentary explores how faith was tested, how ordinary people showed extraordinary courage, and how light emerged from one of the darkest days in modern history.
