NEW STUDY SHINES A LIGHT ON MEN'S INFLUENCE ON WOMEN WHO HAD AN ABORTION

In recent weeks, much debate has taken place about the problem of misogyny in the aftermath of terrible attacks on women by men. But what is the influence of men on the women who opt for abortion? Are many women opting for abortion not because they really want to but because they feel abandoned by a partner or pressurised to believe that the pregnancy was a mistake?

A just-released 2021 study of 1,000 men by LifeWay Research has confirmed what pro-lifers have long known: That men are generally the primary influencers when it comes to abortion decisions. Nearly four in ten post-abortive men with a partner (wife or girlfriend) told researchers that they had been the main influence when it came to deciding whether or not to abort their baby.

In this article by Jonathon Van Maren, the author points out how the role of men is crucial in whether the child lives or dies.
