OCTOBER - THE MONTH OF THE ROSARY

The month of October each year is dedicated to the Most Holy Rosary. This is primarily due to the fact that the liturgical feast of Our Lady of the Rosary is celebrated annually on October 7. Some people struggle with the rosary as a form of prayer. But here is another way of meditating on the mysteries - by following them with Bishop Robert Barron using beautiful art and music on YouTube videos. Below you will find the mysteries of all four families of the Rosary - the Joyful Mysteries (The Annunciation, the Visitation, The Nativity, The Presentation in the Temple, The Finding of Jesus in the Temple);

The Mysteries of Light (The Baptism of the Lord, the Wedding at Cana, the Proclamation of the Kingdom, The Transfiguration, the Institution of the Eucharist); The Sorrowful Mysteries (The Agony in the Garden, the Scourging, the Crowning with Thorns, the Carrying of the Cross, the Crucifixion) and the Glorious Mysteries (The Resurrection, The Ascension, Pentecost, The Assumption of Mary, the Coronation of Mary as Queen of Heaven)
