That we will listen to each other to understand, and in understanding we will notice the movement of the Sprit

That all who are sick or distressed will know the healing power of the Spirit in their lives.

For those Spirit filled people who have gone before us to eternal life
That they will know the joy of the Kingdom and the fullness of God’s presence.

Holy Spirit, Lord of life,
on this great feast of Penecost,
fill your Church throughout the world with the power to transform and change all things,
as you renew the face of the earth, renew each one of us too.
We ask this through Christ the Lord.

We stand before you, Holy Spirit, as we gather together in your name.
While we walk the synodal pathway, let there be a new Pentecost among us.
Send upon us again the fire of your love.
Breathe in us again the breath of new life.
V. Come, Holy Spirit, fill the hearts of your faithful
R. and kindle in us the fire of your love.
V. Send forth your Spirit and we shall be created
R. and you shall renew the face of the earth.
28th MAY
We stand before you, Holy Spirit, as we gather together in your name.
By baptism, we are members of the body of Christ, the people of God.
Give us the encouragement we need to bring faith, hope and love
in abundance to meet the challenges before us.
V. Come, Holy Spirit, fill the hearts of your faithful

29th MAY
We stand before you, Holy Spirit, as we gather together in your name.
We are trying to listen to what you are saying to churches, with open hearts and minds.
Guide our listening that we may receive others with respect,
as we are called to love our neighbour as ourselves.

30th MAY
We stand before you, Holy Spirit, as we gather together in your name.
When we do not know how to pray, you are with us.
Open us to your influence each day,
so that our synodal pathway may be truly led by you.
V. Come, Holy Spirit, fill the hearts of your faithful
R. and kindle in us the fire of your love.

31st MAY
We stand before you, Holy Spirit, as we gather together in your name.
Under your inspiration, Mary had the courage to say “yes.”
Restore our faith and vision, renew our energies and love that
with your abundant grace we may also have the courage to say yes.

1st JUNE
We stand before you, Holy Spirit, as we gather together in your name.
By your gift, the love of God has been poured into our hearts.
Let this love open our lives, inspiring our thoughts, words and actions

And showing us the way to follow your inspirations

3rd JUNE
We stand before you, Holy Spirit, as we gather together in your name.
Help us to listen to each other well so that we can understand,
May we listen to the quiet voices as well as those that are loud,
May our listening hep to realise that you speak to each persons’ heart.

4th JUNE
We stand before you, Holy Spirit, as we gather together in your name.
The fruits of your Spirit are love, joy, peace and patience
As we move forward in our synodal path
may we recognise the fruits of your Spirit in each other.
