On August 28th, the Church celebrated the feast day of St. Augustine of Hippo, a theologian and philosopher of the fourth and fifth centuries, known for his articulate way of describing the mystery of the Trinity. St. Augustine’s masterpieces include his autobiography, Confessions, and his work The City of God.
