THIS WEEK'S INTERVIEW - GIANNA CARE

During the Abortion referendum in 2018 and the lead up to it, voters were presented with a stark choice of 'either or' - either we continue as we are and ignore the problem of Irish women seeking abortions abroad or we change the law here, which would (and did) lead to a very significant increase in abortions. A group of people who deserved to be heard more during the debate were those who work on the ground with expectant mothers and those with crisis pregnancies. These are people who acknowledge the difficult circumstances that surround some pregnancies but yet try to care for both the mother and their unborn children.

One such group is Gianna Care, based in Dorset St in Dublin. Recently, we caught up with two of the leaders of Gianna Care and listened to the great work they do in the area of caring for lives and saving lives.
