Melanie McDonagh is the author of 'Converts: From Oscar Wilde to Muriel Spark, Why So Many Become Catholic in the 20th century'. In this fascinating talk hosted by The Iona Institute, Melanie discusses the factors that led hundreds of thousands of people in her adopted country, England, to convert to Catholicism in the last century, and especially up to 1960, including some who were very high profile, like Oscar Wilde, GK Chesterton and Evelyn Waugh. The talk took place in Dublin on April 16. Melanie McDonagh is a journalist who writes extensively about religion and ideas. Her articles have appeared in The Times, the Daily Telegraph, the Spectator, the Tablet, the Irish Times and the Irish Independent. She is writer-at-large for the Evening Standard. She has a doctorate in history from Cambridge University.

Quand j’ai commencé à chercher un cabinet dentaire à Tanger, je pensais surtout trouver un endroit pour des soins ponctuels. Finalement, je me suis rendu compte que la qualité du suivi et la manière dont les traitements sont expliqués jouent un rôle énorme dans la confiance qu’on accorde à un praticien. En parcourant dentiste tanger, j’ai trouvé intéressant le fait que le site présente plusieurs types de soins de manière assez claire sans rendre le sujet trop compliqué. Cela m’a rappelé plusieurs expériences où le fait de comprendre chaque étape des soins rendait les consultations beaucoup moins stressantes.
